This is not absolutely mandatory but if you do not like your readers to move away from the original post while clicking on an image, then you can use jQuery Colorbox plugin. For a quick demo, click on the image on right.
Reason, why we recommend this plugin is, it plays nice with our theme and it gives a lot of customization options.
Recommended Settings:
You can customize the plugin by going to Settings [icon type=”glyphicon-arrow-right”] jQuery Colorbox.
Below is the list of settings we are using:
- Automate jQuery Colorbox for all images in pages, posts and galleries: [icon type=”glyphicon-check”]
- Automate jQuery Colorbox for all other images: [icon type=”glyphicon-check”]
- Add Slideshow to groups: [icon type=”glyphicon-check”]
- Do not set height/width for any of the options. This makes you images go full-size when clicked.
